It is a good idea to book a hotel in advance because the almost are almost full in the summer season. Cheaper hotels are harder to find and they a further away from the beach.

Most of shops in Torremolinos open from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, and from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, some of them are open on Sundays. Banks are mainly open Monday trough Friday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Most of the best bars and restaurants are near the beachfront in La Carihuela. In the past, La Carihuela was the fisherman district of Torremolinos, now is the daytime fun district of Torremolinos, being full of restaurants with a good sea view and clothes and souvenirs shops, it‘s probably the best place to spend your afternoons in Torremolinos.
